Monthly program

The Upazila Nirbahi Officer has the following responsibilities related to general administration, revenue, law and order and development at the upazila level.

  1.  

Performed development administrative work at the upazila level and served as the Chief Executive Officer and Upazila Executive Magistrate in the Upazila Parishad.
  1.  

At the upazila level, he played an important role in promoting good governance, development and anti-corruption culture.
  1.  

Develops and implements integrated development programs.
  1.  

Overall responsibility for receiving and storing food and relief items during natural disasters.
  1.  

He makes sure that the government instructions regarding the upazila administration are being followed.
  1.  

He visited educational institutions in his area and played a role in the development of education.
  1.  

He is the Chief Protocol Officer of the Upazila.
  1.  

Supervises and controls activities related to upazila revenue and budget.
  1.  

Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, where applicable in case of riot or illegal assembly or deterioration of law and order in any part of the upazila.

He was responsible for the election of Union Parishad, Upazila Parishad and Jatiya Sangsad members.

Arranges to take public exams.
  1.  

Upazila manages land revenue and land.
  1.  

As the collector's representative, he manages the vested property at the upazila level.
  1.  

Takes steps to evict illegal occupants from government property and conducts certificate cases to recover government arrears.
  1.  

He has been the chairman of a total of 49 committees including Upazila Law and Order, Environment, Khas Land Settlement, Irrigation Committee, Loan Committee and Tender Committee.

He performs the duties assigned by the government or any law.
