Communication

Communication with the District Headquarters: At present the Lama-Sualak road is 80 km long for easy communication from Bandarban district to Lama. Mr. A long paved road has been constructed by the Local Government Engineering Department of Lama Upazila. However, due to the inaccessibility of this paved road and the obstruction of construction in many places, the movement on this road is very rare. As a result, at present Chakaria in Cox's Bazar and Lohagara in Chittagong and Satkania upazilas in Bandarban district headquarters about 96 km. You have to cross the path.

Communication facilities: Road connections exist with the capital Dhaka, the divisional city Chittagong, the district town. Apart from some parts of Lama Sadar and some parts of Rupsipara Union, there is direct vehicle communication with 04 other unions in Upazila Sadar. The road is under construction in the interior of Rupsipara Union. If only the proposed bridge over the Lama canal is built, there will be no more obstruction in the communication network in the whole upazila.
